What a morning...

I got up this morning with Emily asking where her black crayon was. Then...mom I found a "trail"...yes, Mr Naughty Pants had been hard at work this morning with sister's black crayon...all over my bedroom and my dresser...

...but it didn't end there. He figured how to climb onto the entertainment center and sat there drinking his bottle...Oh what a life!!!

Emily's Kindergarten Graduation

My little girl graduated kindergarten last week!I can't believe that it is the end of the school year! It went by so fast. It just blows my mind that she is going to first grade.

Her teacher Mrs Peck was an amazing teacher and we grew to love her very much at our house. She was a blessing to us as it was really hard for me to let go of my little girl, but she made the transition easy. It was so hard to say good bye to her!!!

Her class! They were such a cute and fun bunch of kids!!!

Emily's Dance Festival

Fox Hollow had their end of year dance festival with each of the grades. The Kindergarteners were to wear white shirts with jean shorts and swim gear. Emily was so nervous for this, but she was excited when it finally came time to do it and waved at me in the audience!!! They were all so cute. It was such a fun thing to be able to watch her and her classmates!

So this is Emily's animal habitat project for her kindergarten class. It was alot of fun to work on with her and to see where and how she wanted to put things. She was so proud of her project!!! She did a wonderful job!!!

Hayden

So today i discovered what kind of little brother that Hayden is going to be. I woke up this morning and Harrison says "Hayden is not being very nice to Emily" and he goes back to bed. Well I go in the living room and Emily is happily watching tv when all of a sudden Hayden starts ramming a toy into her. i tell him to stop doing that to sister, but he looks at me and decides to keep pestering his sister. That is the moment that I realized that he is going to love to torture her and all I have to say is "I am so sorry Emily."

Easter 2009

We had a pretty eventful Easter this year!!! We went up to the Miller Family's House for egg coloring and hunt. Hayden slept through his first egg hunt of the year:( Emily had a lot of fun hunting for the eggs. The day before Easter we went to the American Fork City Egg Hunt, Wheeler Farms, and the Orem Owlz baseball for Easter fun. The kids I think had the most fun Easter morning trying to figure out where the Easter Bunny hid all the eggs...even Hayden was finking them and pointing to them so Harrison would reach up and grab them for him. It was quite comical. The kids later discovered that they could sit in the laundry basket and mom would spin them around. We had a pretty fun weekend!!!

Emily's Hairbow Business

Last week was spring break at our house and Emily was busy all week making hairbows! She spent so much time on each one cutting the ribbon and glueing them together. Then she had to make sure that her grandma knew that she had started a hairbow busines (so that she could sucker her into purchasing a few!!!). She is such a crafty little girl!

We're going to Disney!

So we just planned our trip to Disneyland!!! We leave May 13th! It will be fun to go with the four of us this time. I am anxious to see how Hayden likes the characters. Hopefully because he likes Mickey so much he won't be to afraid. Emily is so excited to ride on some of the rides we didn't get to go on last time. I think she has our whole trip planned. Luckily we have an extra day this time!
